Networks Disrupted By Taiwan Earthquake Struggle To Recover
This makes me remember back when we had 300, 1200 and then 9600 baud modems.
An undersea earthquake struck off the coast of Taiwan on Wednesday, complicating efforts to repair six submerged cables that were severed by a stronger quake nearly four weeks ago.
This makes me remember back when we had 300, 1200 and then 9600 baud modems.

That's by far the strangest comment I've seen. Help wanted spam. Renna, if you check this - check out Pandapassport.com, as they've a forum for that sort of thing.
And hey Steve... I am in total agreement. As someone that spends most of their "free" time doing web design stuff, this is a real pain. My buddy works at HP and he said it's caused some problems with their systems there, and I can only imagine that there's similar problems coming out of IBM. Sux all around.
