Inaugural address

I went out to eat late the other night and discovered a bunch of people at the Shamrock Pub who were there to watch President Obama's inaugural address on TV. It started at 1:00am, and since it was already late I decided to stay and watch it too. All I will say about it is that I prefer when presidents talk about "we the people" and not "we the government". If you miss that too then you might enjoy this...

  • Steve sad to say debating you on this is moot, but I was there (at the inaugration) and the impression I got was he was speaking for the people. It seems the deregulation (no matter who set it in place) played a major part in these global financial problems. All I can say is I hope he (Obama and gov't) gets it right as this mornings collapse of Iceland's government is a scary tremor in this world's economy.
