Check your statements

I've been seeing more and more of this...

2 reports of unexpected charges by Obama campaign on Nebraska.TV news

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Two Missourians say they were surprised to receive credit card statements indicating they had donated to Barack Obama's presidential campaign.

Sandy Pogones of Camdenton and Steve Larman of North Kansas City each found a $2,300 charge on their credit card bills recently for the Obama for America campaign. Both say they do not support Obama and would not contribute to his campaign.

With all the fraud going on this election you should double-check your credit card statements to make sure some Obama group hasn't been charging your credit card. If they have, you can contact the credit card company to remove the charge. You might also want to contact the FBI.

  • Yes of course Steve.. Obama who has raised over $200 million is risking everything to get a few thousand dollars through credit card fraud. Makes sense to me! But I do agree with you, there has been a lot of fraud going on during this election. Sarah Palin is posing as a capable politician, John McCain has told us our economy is fundamentally strong, and the GOP with the help of Fox News is trying to convince us the fabric of our Democracy hangs in the balance. If you are referring to ACORN, please read this link:

  • Just giving people a heads-up. We all know about corrupt Chicago politicians and about slate. Hehe

  • "We all know about Slate." You convinced me Steve! Well I'll paraphrase for you if you're so unwilling to even look at a dissenting argument. (And by the way, you can read some more of the facts at this link, an AP article:

-Lazy ACORN canvassers are the ones who filled out the registration forms, this is not a conspiracy.
-Just because Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are registered does not mean any votes will be cast on their behalf. They still have to actually show up at their polling place, with ID, and cast a vote. If anyone did this they'd be risking heavy fines and possible jail time.
-Voting fraud is extremely rare. There is simply no incentive. People do not risk a felony conviction to change an election by a single vote. In the past 6 years (2 major elections) there have been 25 cases reported across the entire country. 25! After this a major Bush administration investigation (with questionable motives) turned up nothing.

These are facts Steve. This is not some liberal bias.

  • I was not looking for an argument. I just wanted to warn people about something that might effect them and their credit cards.

It seems that you want to argue about things that I didn't even mention in my post. There are plenty of other sites out there discussing the FBI's investigations of ACORN. Perhaps you can post your "facts" there. I think thou doth protest too much.
